Binoculars / Spotting scope / Telescope

Please, give us the possibility to zoom in in our environment for various reasons.
I see 2 reasons, but feel free to add in comment your own wishes.

First, i wish i could zoom in using a tool to observe my environment, despite the natural water fog and blur. Observing at least shadows and shapes at sun light would be a pleasant feature to me. Especially considering that many sites offer a good line of seight either early in the game and in mid game. I put my late game base close to the observatory and wish i could observe fished, resources deposit, etc on the cliffs.
I imagine that a new tool, either some binoculars or a spotting scope would be perfect, with a simple HUD displaying distance or such information.

Second, like mentionned in https://subnautica2.nolt.io/15004, it would be great to have a more powerful base equipment to zoom in to observe our environment. It could be a the same feature but with several zoom level, not transportable, to put either inside or outside of our bases. In that way, we could either observe the sky, the World Tree, and underwater environment, all in the limitation of water blur of course.

Maybe not vital features but more like a QoL and/or immersion feature to me.
