Better Salvaging

Since the first game i’ve always wanted a later game option to scrap down more of the large ship wrecks. Not that titanium was ever too difficult to get but the idea of salvaging SOME of the piece off of large wrecks has always been really cool. It could also be a good way to get other resources for electronics and stuff when building bigger base sorta nearby wrecks

oh, had the very same idea but starting from the question how to make the haul chaissis really worthwhile: make it be able to haul stuff, like other tadpoles and those large storage chests the colonists behind left, but more importantly als wrackage: https://subnautica2.nolt.io/12409 - so we can scrap it for parts!

You really don’t need to recycle the larger ship parts now with the addition of the metal farms, it took me about 10 hours, using the 5 metal farms, to fill up between 1-3 Large foot lockers each with every item in the game (3 foot lockers of each metal, 2 of each ingot and electrical components, 1 of each rarely used item)
