Planet 4546B and Proteus recipes and resources are too similar

Titanium is great for building structures. Glass comes from quartz. Wiring and circuitry is made out of copper and silver. Batteries are copper and acid. Drying fish is done with salt. Grease comes from orange glowing plant seeds, while fiber comes from the plant.

Am I describing Subnautica 1, Below Zero, or 2?

It’s a new planet, with new problems, and a new environmental makeup. Yet twe’re just gathering the same resources, crafting the same things, and experiencing the same gameplay loop once more.

It kills player discovery and that “wonder” moment.

Yeah. I get that convergent evolution is a thing and fish are going to be fish-shaped everywhere, but Proteus seems exactlu like 4546b but with a spooky virus Eywa planet consciousness that recently arrived but has also always been there. And with less diversity of bodyplans. Like, how would you describe the general differences between Proteus life and 4546B life?
