Make it so the corridor building piece can bend downward or upward. So you can create winding tunnels to different levels of a multi-storey build. To travel up / down in them, you would need to either make the ladder placeable inside the vertical corridors or have the ability to intentionally flood the tunnels with water. That way you can have fun tubes to swing through to get to different levels of a base.

Yes. I hate the way ladders are currently in game. They cant be butted up against a wall, they are always out away from the wall by a good bit so they take up too mich space.
I would like my ladders to be unobtrusive, out of the way, and enclosed. Essentially, a vertical tube with hand and footholds attached. And I want to be able to access said tube/ladder from a room via a doorway directly connecting the room to the tube. I dont want to have to go through a tube to get to the vertical tube. I want to be able to attach it direcly against an outside wall, but vertically with only enough gap to fit a threshold!
