Boost/Transportation Rings

A ring you can build that boosts your speed when going through it, allowing the building of mapwide transportation long term if players invest the resources to construct them. When swimming in base, they won’t do much but give you a little push, but with a tadpole or wavemakers, you can really get around much faster on constructed routes. They can charge on solar power, allowing storms to knock them out of commission if the sun is blocked out, forcing slower exploration for those with pre-established systems.

Hypothetical larger vehicles will also not be able to fit through them, building on the slow but mighty fantasy of those types of vehicles.

I bet they are planing on artifical currents that can push you as the hydro turbine said its not able to be placed in artifical currents
