ive missed a few audio recording and had to go back and read the black box, like Anita’s, and i wish i could replay them like the degasi messages in sub1.

it’s also pretty annoying when there is already something playing, and you pick up another box it either stops what you were listening to or never plays the new thing

I’ve also run into a few areas where the text and the recording don’t entirely match up as well. So being able to play the recording again would be nice.
Oh yeah! I missed a few audio clips and couldn’t replay them. I’m not completely comfortable with English, and my interface is in French (which is a good thing), but if I’m busy in multiplayer mode, I can easily miss the audio without being able to read it again. Plus, having the audio in another language at the same time makes it hard to follow.
Agree that feature in SN1 + Pause in PDA made it so much better for people that like to read the logs and scan info… Also when there’s a log playing and you get the oxygen alert sometimes it cuts the log audio or just keeps playing and you missed that part.

Yes please! sometimes other audio alerts come in and talk right over the one you’re listening to so it’s really hard to focus!

Yes i agree. Let us skip it, remind me to hear it in the hud and let us hear them when siting at a chair in your base at the end of a hard day.

And please make it pausable. An interface where you can see all played messages with simple playback controls would be great. Like how they did it in Bioshock with tapes.
When I’m diving with my buddy and there’s a long fragment I’m not ready to give it my full attention.
I’m sure it’ll be added at some point, but I sure hope it’s sooner rather than later

Having recordings constantly interrupted/stopped by “Oxygen” or “You are being hunted” is my only real issue so far. Especially since most of the predators don’t even do damage. I don’t care if my hair is being nibbled on.

PDA interface just like the other two games would be ideal - play and pause box at the top, text transcript beneath. As a lorekeeper it’s really important to be able to hear the voice logs!
