Vehicle entering Animation

Add a short animation when entering the Tadpole like the Seamoth from SN1. But its important that it is quick and not abrasive on the gameplay.

if it’s as quick as Seamoth animation, it will be fine tho

I think this already in the plans

I think this is planned, just not added yet. It’s early access and making animations sync up in first-person and third-person takes a while

This is most likely planned, as we are in very very early access

The entering animation must be a lot faster than the seatruck tho, in below zero it was annoying but in subnautica it was fine.

If possible, please make this configurable. I got annoyed of the animations after a while. So I would prefer to turn it off if I could.

With the seatruck I would always point my seatruck straight down to skip the animation cuz it took too long. Something quick that also isn’t skippable like that would feel nice.

Seamoth did it in SN1. SN2 just waiting for it at this point.

i really felt strange when crafted my first tadpole and entered it, and i also think that grabbing on the side of it also deserves an animation

Please do this more like SN1 and not BZ. The BZ one was too long, forcing you to angle it to avoid it.

Yesss please! Make more animations🙏 Entering the vehicles, entering the base, climbing and RUNNING at least. Thank you in advance

They can make the animation long, no problem. As long as you can instantly start moving the vehice even when the animation isnt finished like in SN 1 it will be fine.

I do support this, but as far as I can tell, the Tadpole model doesn’t currently have a place for a hatch.

Personally I love the idea of sliding into an inward facing flexible hatch like a little creature burrowing into a hole. It’s quick to grab the side of your vehicle and pull yourself in without having to instantly cut the camera for a touch more ‘realism’ and immersion.
