Floating Base

rather than adding a specific foundation or anything for a floating base, make it so that when you go to place a base peice, you can switch to a different variant of it that replaces the legs with a sort of hover system (not anything too large just a small set of a couple thrusters almost like small versions of what was on the back of the aurora in the first game) to the bottom edges and corners of that part, this would allow bases to be placed much higher and in much more interesting spots that are very awkward to build in currently, while still allowing bases to have the normal legs if somebody wants them (say if somebody wanted to have a base cross a small gap with only the end parts having legs and all parts between self supporting with these hovering ion thrusters)
