Having played Subnautica, I knew about the Dead Zone at the edge of the map, and in some ways, the horror lurking there fascinated me. However, venturing into a supposedly deadly zone solely for the thrill of it seems unreasonable.
I propose adding additional incentives for players to venture into the game’s most terrifying zone, even if it’s only a small reward for their bravery.
For example:
• Eggs of a unique companion fish, similar to the Cuddlefish from the first game.
• Rare ore deposits located on walls extending from the game’s main map.
• A genetic enhancement obtained from the Void Leviathan (for example, an ability that uses enzymes or something similar to slightly repel nearby creatures, similar to how many creatures, including players, try to avoid the Void).
In any case, the proposal doesn’t end with these examples alone; I’m sure other ways to motivate players are possible.

In case of any mistakes, I apologize, I used a translator

I think if you want to add that, there has to be a danger…
