Collector Leviathan sea frog interaction

I have a what I think would be a very thematic suggestion for a Collector Leviathan interaction with the sea frog. It would be really cool if it could occasionally rip the arms maybe also legs off the sea frog chassy if you let it get to close. I am afraid of a repeat of the prawn suit were once you get it you are praticlly immortal. This feature I feel like will keep a balance of fear in the player when in the sea frog and add more use to the creatues that get scared when a collector is near. I was thinking once the danger had passed maybe theres a way to re-attach its arms/legs after? But maybe you would be forced to abandon your sea frog chassy temporaraly then come back to it and repair it before heading off again.
