Trident Modular System (Update 3.0)

It’s kind of the same concept as the Seatruck, but without turning the Trident into a worm. Instead, you could customize the four docking ports by choosing what to build in each one. This would be useful because sometimes you’re playing solo or with just two players, leaving several ports unused and wasting space unless you have a full group of four.

When you first get the Trident, all four ports would be empty and flat. You could then choose what to build in each port, such as a Moonpool in one and a Fishing Station in another. This would let players customize the Trident to fit their needs instead of having four identical docking ports that they might not even use.
