Linkable Dive Elevators

Dive Elevators in my opinion aren’t all that useful right now for the average person. They are fairly short. You can chain them together to do deeper, but you have to manually hop between them as you go down and it isn’t really nice aesthetically

So here’s my suggestion;
Add the ability to extend the elevator’s pole by constructing another elevator at it’s end, like extending a base by constructing a room next to preexisting room. If you want to be fancy, maybe make it so you can control how deep it goes
