Intel Arc GPU Performance Optimization and Stability Improvements

Hello, Unknown Worlds team!

First of all, congratulations on the development of Subnautica 2! I’m really excited about the game’s future and its upcoming content updates.

I would like to suggest further performance optimizations specifically for Intel Arc graphics cards, especially the Intel Arc B580.

My PC specifications:

  • GPU: Intel Arc B580 12GB
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
  • RAM: 16GB DDR4 3200MHz
  • OS: Windows 11
  • Resolution: 1920×1080

I believe it would be valuable to prioritize the following improvements:

  • Better GPU utilization and optimization for Intel Arc architectures.
  • More consistent native FPS, especially in demanding underwater environments.
  • Reduced stuttering and improved frame pacing.
  • Better performance around large bases, complex environments, and areas with many creatures.
  • Improved graphics driver compatibility and overall stability.
  • Performance benchmarking and optimization for Intel Arc GPUs throughout Early Access.

I would also love to see Unknown Worlds collaborate with Intel to further improve graphics driver compatibility and performance optimization for Subnautica 2.

While technologies such as XeSS Frame Generation are valuable, optimizing native rendering performance is equally important for achieving a smooth and responsive gameplay experience.

I understand that the game is still in Early Access, and I appreciate all the work your team is doing.

I hope Intel Arc GPUs, including the B580, will receive continued attention in future updates.

Thank you for listening to the community and for creating such an incredible underwater experience!

Greetings from Brazil!
