I love that the furnature available so far is mostly interactive, as that isn’t the case in many games, and I very much like that you can place your inventory items on hard surfaces such as tables. But it is very frustrating that you can’t seem to do the same with the various clutter items such as the jars, pots and statues that you find around the world, as in real life, that is where you would most likely place them, rather than the floor. It would be good to have a wider range of display surfaces, such as small tables and pedestalls, as well as more homely furnature peices (eg. sofas, smaller coffee tables, bedside tables, wardrobes, dressers (same function as biobed in the lifepod) etc.) and interactive furnature (fridges, ovens and water refiners (same food/drink functions as the main fabrictor and processor just seperated out) to create more ‘zones’ in a home. The more cosy the base feels, the more scary it feels to leave it :D
