more distinct terrain features please!!!

something that’s always stood out to me about subnautica’s map that wasn’t replicated in BZ was how every biome had really distinct topography, and i think subnautica 2 would really benefit from that!!! every biome in subnautica had some sort of niche terrain feature to set it apart from the others (some examples include the crash zone mesas, the big crack in the ground west of the aurora, the impact crater in the dunes ((not to mention the dunes being distinct via how flat + empty they are)), the flat treader path that goes through the entire grand reef,, so on and so forth), to the point where you can look at a colorless topography map and physically see every biome and where they intersect. even if a biome isn’t particularly notable there will always be something to identify where you are in the world!!!

i think subnautica 2 would greatly benefit from having more small details, as right now the only existing biomes are distinct because of their creatures and features, rather than the smaller things. the best biome in the game right now in my eyes is the Graveyard because its terrain is so distinct, whereas every other biome kinda blends together topographically.

i doubt the small finer details are a priority right now, but it would mean the world to me if it was kept in mind!!! BZ’s biggest issue in my eyes was the lack of anything making biomes interesting beyond whatever new creature or resource they throw at you, so please please keep it in mind this time!!! ^^
