Camera idea for vehicles

I was thinking of a deployable camera drone similar to the one from the scanner room in the original subnautica, they could be handheld to scout ahead to see if its safe or they could be on vehicles to scout ahead and see if the vehicle can fit etc, i just think it would be alot cooler than static cameras
