Bismuth Crystal Biome

It’d be great to have a biome filled with bismuth crystals, shown in the picture, and creatures that live off of it! Maybe a creature called the Shardslug, which eats bismuth crystals and spits it out to distract predators/scare them. Plants (actually fauna) could use the crystals in some way as well!
