The only reason as to why the first gameplay trailer looked better objectively was because it had ∗∗∗ rays. Yes, I just realized this, SUBNAUTICA 2 LACKS ∗∗∗ RAYS–!
The other reason is more personal and subjective. The surface of the water was less opaque and also had a more teal color. Also the fog itself was more teal, and I liked that better than what we have.
