Some concerns about the next update.

D

I’m a little worried about the next content update for Subnautica 2. I’m concerned all they will do is add new biomes and keep the low detailed nearly vertical drops at the edge of the current regions. I want the jelly plateaus and necrolei hills to slowly decline downward and not just have drop off after drop off, plateau from plateau- or worse, one big drop off to the new region. Maybe thes deeper versions of the preexisting biomes could act as less jarring transitionary biomes to convey a slowly settling, unnerving feeling as you descend, making the player wonder, “is it safe to keep going down here?” Or at least “down here yet?” Rather than “Whats down this drop off? AAAAAAAAA”
I also just really want the preexisting biomes to be expanded, because they feel so small and empty- and some biomes like the shallows and the jelly plateaus should appear in multiple places like the kelp forests, safe shallows, grassy plateaus and even the mushroom forests did in the original game. Maybe even make some creatures (both sessile and mobile) found only in some/specific instances of the biomes to make sure they dont feel like copy/pastes.
Unless you guys also want to expand the graveyard down, the area north of the north raceway could have a biome comparable in terrain to the drop off you come across in the Sparse Reef.

As exciting new biomes are, please remember to go back and give some attention to the older biomes, and make sure both old and new ones feel big enough.

Thank you!
