Tadpoel Service

While thinking about what else could be done with the grease that’s currently used for only one item, I came up with the idea that it could be used to service the Tadpole (and other vehicles in the future). A new tab showing the vehicle’s technical condition could appear in the upgrades window. After traveling longer distances (for example, every 25 kilometers), the engine grease would need to be replaced to avoid penalties to speed, energy consumption, or noise levels; additionally, there might be a need to replace rubber seals to prevent the oxygen tank filling more slowly after entering the vehicle (for example, every 50 kilometers) or to repair electrical systems using an advanced wiring kit (every 75 kilometers, for example) to prevent overall deterioration of the vehicle’s systems.

Vehicle interface should display small icons for these systems in three colors (green → yellow → red) to indicate their approximate status. Once properly balanced, this could be an interesting addition that wouldn’t require constant attention, while also adding variety to vehicle maintenance beyond simply replacing/recharging power cells and repairing hull damage.

I see that I made a mistake in the name of the idea, is there a way to edit it?

This would be super cool! Maybe instead of the Tadpole displaying it, rust starts to form around certain areas.
