More wildlife diversity

I would love to see more wildlife diversity in Subnautica 2.

Compared to the previous games, I often encounter the same creatures repeatedly. The existing creatures have great animations and behaviors, but more species would make the ecosystem feel much richer.
I would especially like more small fish with different behaviors, habitats and uses, such as cooking.

More variety would make exploration feel more alive and rewarding.

Not sure this would work. Isn’t kinda the point is that the entire ecosystem is sick and possibly dying?
