The Sunken Pine Forest is a biome located around 300–450 feet below the surface. The biome is filled with giant pine trees growing from the ocean floor, creating an underwater forest.
The trees have large, holes in them that provide shelter for many smaller creatures. Fallen logs, branches, and pine debris cover the floor, making some areas difficult to navigate.
Most of the plants in this biome look like normal earth plants, but many have become mutated after being exposed to metal-rich water from the Proteus. Some plants have diferent color leaves, strange growths, or unusual textures.
Scattered throughout the forest are several small caves, with one or two of them leading to a much larger cave biome deeper underground. These caves can contain resources and creatures that don’t normally appear in the forest.
The deeper parts of the biome become darker and denser, with the big pine trees blocking much of the remaining sunlight.
