When working at depth or inside caves, a reliable air supply is crucial. Connecting pipes is costly and time-consuming, especially since a cave might be small—even if it contains valuable resources. I propose creating a small, portable oxygen supply module that can be placed on the surface and fitted with a beacon. The module itself could be refilled using compressed air tanks. This would be particularly helpful during the early stages of the game, as well as in shallows and narrow caves.
There is a need to descend to depth in oxygen-deprived conditions—for instance, during the early stages. The concept is based on a buoyancy bag, though the effect is different. Your new consumable component is a heavy unit filled with air to provide buoyancy; when you need to submerge, you release the air to sink to the bottom.
Both of these technologies take up significant inventory space: the air unit occupies 6 slots, and the submersible payload takes up 4 slots.

Have you played the game?
We already have a portable oxygen generator.
There is litterally no reason why you should have some sort of new oxygen supply module that takes up a lot of inventory space for no apperent reason when we already have one that works way better.
Your idea is redundant.

I think they confused SN2 for either SN1 or B:Z

Yeah that must be the case!
