Tribute

I would like to propose a new feature for the game that pays tribute to Frank Herbert and his Dune saga: the ability to craft various types of knives from Leviathan teeth, with each type varying in durability. It would also be great to see an elderly scientist character in the game who studies Leviathans; this could lead to the discovery of a biological compound that temporarily enhances hearing and vision.

Unknown Worlds have been very clear that we are not getting the survival knife (or any other knifes for that matter) added to the game. Also what does Frank Herbert and his Dune saga have to do with Subnautica 2?

What do you mean durability? Bro has never played Subnautica in his life lol

Maybe he played the really early versions only? I heard there was durability in some test build, and the leftover hardened knife item in SN1 was more durable than the normal one.
