Swim speed bonus stacking

Currently the wakemaker, fins, and sea skimmer speed bonuses do not stack and they should. Instead of the wakemakers just setting your speed to 6 m/s even if you have the fins on they should set your swim speed to 6.5 m/s with the normal fins etc etc.

If you have fast running shoes on that help you run a little faster, then jumps into a car. Does the running shoes help you drive faster?

Okay okay, all jokes aside.
I think its a balancing issue and that they want it to be closer to real life water physics. If they let you have all these upgrades and tools to make you go mach 5 in the water the tadpole and other vehicles will become obsolete. Or they increase the speed of the vehicles and that makes them unnaturally fast under water which breaks the feel for physics since water is more dense. Also real physics state that the faster you go the more drag you encounter. Meaning that your already slow swimspeed with the improved fins (compared to the speed of a batterypowerd wavemaker) wouldnt increase all that much. That is probably the reason as to why in all the subnautica games the seaglide or wavemakers caps out and doesnt benifit from other sources of increase underwater speed.

I think also the expectation is that when you’re using the machines to give you speed, you’re not kicking overtime to try to get your foot propulsion to overtake it.
