A chat for long distances, Email!

I noticed that as distance increased and Proximity chat started to drop out, that there was little help in long distance communication over a few hundred meters. I ended up using Discord, but something in game would be helpful. So I had the though of an email system. A little fake emailing system, in which one can quickly type out an email, send it, and it appears as a quick little email icon, and then is waiting in the inbox. Nothing like full on chat, but not nothing either. Plus it also is humerous to me that who knows how far into the future we can reprint bodies - but still have emails.

One problem. If you’re out of radio range you’re out of email transmission range. There’s no planetary wifi service on an uncolonized ocean planet.

WE MAKE ONE. jk but seriously imagine setting up a radar dish or something to send this email. like a specialized sending center you place in your base… and players within range of the center recive emails, or otehr radar dishes in range recieve it and use it’s radar to also broadcast that email. ehh?
