A freezing biome

I’m thinking of a biome where halfway to the tree, it has a biome with ice in the water and I think of a adaption where it ups your circulatory system so it can produce more heat so you ca go in and I’m thinking adaptations upgrade parts of your organ systems like the respiratory system by high pressure or digestive system for the fish in the planet

I have a more in-depth idea for a frozen biome using your ideas!
A frozen biome, cooled by the cold water geysers called Sofroct Springs that have these pools of refrigerated water pooled at the bottom of the ocean floor. Sofroct Plants are located in these springs, and create ice on the surface and seafloor. An Angel Comb is located just outside of the biome and adds cold tolerance.
Sofroct Plants are invasive. They feed off of broken roots cooled down after being stored in the deep ocean rocks, meaning this area was never meant to be frozen. You have to de-ice the Axum structures by cutting the Sofroct Plants.. but they’re tough. You need to get another resonator upgrade!

or maybe a return of the Laser Cutter to cut the Sofroct Plants
