Nahema's Scanner

Nahema’s scanner- bacterial scanner, super scanner- whatever it may be called, it’s just annoying to use. I recently got it because I kept on missing it in the wreck that Iso’s blackbox was in beacuse the entrance to the hallway looked like an exit to the ocean. Of course, that isn’t much of a deal, the bigger problem is that it makes you scan every single creature again. My bacterial scanner has 47 different signals all because I didn’t scan one type of coral for the second time. I don’t scan hostile creatures a lot because I’m trying to be safe in the game, so when I do, I usually never go near the creature again, but now I have to. Again. One of my least favorite areas in the game is where the Needler Mangos are for the sole reason of how annoying they are, and I scanned one once, and I don’t like going there. Of course it’s a good method to force the player to go to places they’re scared of, but it just feels tedious at this point.

I can understand that it’s tedious, but it’s also optional, and (correct me if I’m wrong) I believe there are enough corals and harmless creatures to scan that you aren’t forced to scan any particular predator or go to any particular location.
