It would be really great if you added a new feature for terrain mapping. As we explore the Subnautica 2 world, have the ability (maybe with a new piece of equipment) to map the terrain we travel and then bring it up on our HUD so that we can easily travel back to places we’ve already discovered/explored. Including the resources the area has/bases/creatures. It gets hard to remember which location and which direction we’ve found something if we want to go back. Love the game! It’s such an improvement over the original. Thanks for listening to our feedback!
I literally have a note pad that i write headings down on, and the depths where i find mineral deposits. Lol. Using that in conjunction with the signal buoys and Base signals is taxing but fun in its own way. But having a mid game Lidar system on a Scout Ray to make a 2D map would be supper cool.
