I’d like to see audio log or written text log capsules as an item that can be crafted and used by the player and placed in the world, for strictly flavor and roleplayability. Either that, or give the player the option to record a short audio message into an audio log that will drop near their body when they die before they respawn. I think it would be fun to someone encounter your death scene and find your last words.
It could also open up a fun meta of creating player-driven minigames or quests for friends with hidden items for each other. It’s very niche, but there are those of us who enjoy this kind of thing.
I am a roleplayer. I love roleplaying with my friends even when they don’t roleplay back. I do this in almost every open world game I play with them. As long as there is an easy way to distinguish that the log or text is written by a player and not confused with in-game lore, I think it would be a fun addition for people to play with. Abuse of the system doesn’t seem like an issue since the current iteration of the game only has closed lobby multiplayer.
Thanks.

Orr, even a way to set a custom blackbox whenever you die that gets checked and sent out to everyone with a rare chance of happening? Like time capsules in the first game!
