I’m not saying add a gun or a knife or anything like that, but my favourite part of the first game was that i really felt like i had a positive impact on the environment because I Chose to leave the leviathans alive and worked to clear the infection. I actively avoided crashing into fish with my vehicles. Now that there’s no choice my decisions dont feel as impactful. At the very least small fish like Halfmoons should enter a “dead” or ragdoll state after being crashed into by a Tadpole so that doing that actually makes you feel bad about not paying attention to what youre doing.
Now personally I never liked killing the leviathans or even the average sized creatures so they could either have health that regenerates so killing them would still be near impossible or they can just stay invincible. Either way as someone who didnt care about invincible Leviathans or the lack of combat tools, Id at least like to see something like a marrowbreach hunting down smaller fish that wander neaby.

Fully agreed. I personally don’t see why creatures below leviathan size (whatever that is exactly) should be invincible
