
Tadpole actually breaks which adds actual risk when you go out because yoh can lose your tadpole rather then just being to swim back and repair it back to full health

I think it would be kinda annoying — when one loses their Seamoth in SN1, they just restarts from the last save, rather than building a new vehicle. The same applies to SN2, but restarting from the last save would not be possible in multiplayer, and it would also make scanning leviathans for biomods and data-bank entries irrational, especially when you can’t just stasis a creature like in SN1.

Welcome to SN2 where everything is immortal, nothing ever breaks, and the player has no agency.
