Joinable friend servers

If possible, I feel like this would improve the game a lot but can you make it so if your friend makes a server/world for example can you make a setting where if activated anyone from your friends list could join even when the host is offline, this could help for when a seperate friend wants to carry on gathering resources or carry on the story without having to wait for the other friend I think it would just be a great idea and thank you
