The rope update

What if there was a vehicle that was in between the trident and the tadpole in size and stuff? You would find it in a virus bloom and you would have to bring it back to base by pulling it using the all new item: rope :p. Rope can pull any vehicle and can moor a sub to a ground object and can be used to make sure that the collector can’t pick it up and throw it, or make sure it doesn’t get swept up by ocean currents. You can dock 2 tadpoles or 2 chassis. It’s like the mod that added the hyrda in the original game but a bit bigger and make sure it is controlled by a pilot and co pilot only

I’m pretty sure the devs are making an effort to not add any other submersibles, the Tadpole and its chassis will be all we get (aside from new chassis of course)
It’s a good way to balance things and maintain consistency (Prawn replaced Seamoth because it’s hard to balance)

The submarine is heavily in planning, and I believe it being called the Trident was a placeholder name.

Finding a chassis covered in bloom that you need to free in order to scan could be cool though, maybe it’s a special chassis that we fix up instead of outright scanning and rebuilding? Could be interesting.
