Quality of life update:
It would be really nice if the game supported multiple save slots for progress.
In the first Subnautica, I had issues where something broke, I saved the game in that broken state, and there was no way to go back.
I’m speaking from experience: a Sea Dragon crashed into my Cyclops, and all placed items inside it were literally wiped out (storage units and everything stored in them). Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it at the time, saved the game, and went to sleep. The next day, when I loaded the save, I realized all my items were gone. There was no way to access older saves, because the game automatically deletes previous saves when a new one is created. This practically ruined my entire playthrough, because I had my entire base moved into the Cyclops.
It would be great if we had 3–4 save slots per world, either allowing the player to choose which slot to overwrite, or letting the game automatically overwrite the oldest one.
