Day and night

Maybe it is possible that there are creatures only appearing at night or behave diffrently to when its day?

Heartfeltly seconded. The fauna of the game feels somewhat railed and unnatural, and nightfall not having any effect on the behavior of animals is a huge part of that somewhat plasticky feel.

Simple things could be done: Fish hide in kelp. Deep sea creatures swim to the surface. certain predators come out of caves.

Maybe at night Shiver leviathans (the void guys) become more active at night? also, i think the periscopic clown crabs (i think that’s their name) MAYBE do that, i’ve never seen ‘em spawn at night
