Stun lasts too short

Stun really doesn’t last long enough - OR, creatures should become disinterested in you for a while (1-2 minutes) after you stun them.
Since the stun is the only real deterrent for most defensive/aggressive creatures, it should be a minimum of 20 seconds, with holding the charge longer to allow up to 2 minutes or so like the stasis rifle in Sub1. We don’t have anything like the propulsion/repulsion cannons so this really needs improvement

Hit them again. And again. Until they go away (not sure if this actually works).

It doesn’t. They run on rails and never get educated or bored. I’ve got another suggestion in to change that.

I second the motion to extend the stun time.

Example one: You are running your tadpole. You see a hammerhead. You get out and stun it. By the time you get back in, it is already back up and preparing to ram your tadpole.

Example two: You want to scan the tailings furniture out near the dead crab zone. You stun the marrowbreach. You don’t even have time to scan a single item properly before you have to mind the marrowbreach again and stun it or get bit.

Stun is far too short. 20-25 seconds would be helpful.
