Let us play music on the PDA

Let us play any song that exists (within reason) on the PDA and also make a few new songs on the PDA for us to listen to. Maybe youtube videos to? this will allow each pioneer (player) to be able to listen to what they want and also give us some more music and lore. and let the music sound menu be accessible in the PDA maybe with its own section. Maybe like have a cool futuristic google screen (although it will probably be called like the Alterranet or something) and we can look up anything within reason (you can also add your own things if you want like news articles, ect.) or maybe like we have to upgrade the PDA to get this. (maybe an Axum upgrade so we can establish communication with an Alterra communications relay) (but it won’t affect the story as well they can’t reach us.) and maybe this is when someone intercepts our link and comes to help us or destroy us. (this could be later on maybe in the new biome) or when we wake up the crypters. i think this could be done in two parts. 1. music and videos and some other media. 2. reconnecting to alterra and having updated information on what has happened while we were gone. our communications link being discovered. thanks. i hope this helps you devs.

Yeah, I agree, I thought about that too, but I would rather make it something like Spotify or at least the soundtrack of all the subnautica

Sounds fun, is probably not worth installing. Playing external audio sources into the game sounds like a legal nightmare.

Adding more audio/video game content is interesting but again probably not worth it in everything else being added. This would have a “fallout” vibe but there’s no one else to run a radio station so it would only be ore-lided stuff?

Just turn on your music when you play.
