Would be cool to see improvements to fabrication, such as introducing mods to apply to fabricators or processors. For example applying a mod to a fabricator could allow for alternate recipes for certain food items. A mod that could allow this could utilise alien technology and allow for fabrication of alien technology and recipes, items that could be generally more efficient instead of using the basic fabricator. This feature could also further play into that theme of adaptation to an alien world, and what better way to express that than through using alien technology and retrofitting it to standard fabricators. This also could add variety to the aesthetic of bases allowing it to flow more smoothly with the rest of alien aesthetic you can already place in your base.
