Hi im 15 years old and I love Subnautica 2!
My idea was to add a new creature wich is like some sort of scorpion. This scorpion is prey to all kinds of animals, thats why a huge round scissor of an adult scorpion wich sticks out of the sand scoops up the little scorpion as soon as a creature or player comes nearby. When the player comes near the scorpion you can already see a huge bump under the sand coming to the baby scorpion, but if you hit the underground adult with a sonic resonator it stops and you can pick up the baby scorpion wich can be fabricated to cuticula the hard skin cells, these are used to craft a protective armour for the player.
withered: the withered version lives in a dangerous new biome I will come to in another post. this speecies is infected with the protea-virus.instead of saving their kid the parent withered scorpion goes for the player.The defeating process is the same as the normal one. item drop: infected cuticula, this is used to research and find out new things about the protea viruses origin.
