EDIT: I notice more people are downvoting than upvoting, please explain why in the comments this isnt a good idea… Most subnautica fans dont really care at all about making it less hard to cheat? Did i not go into enough detail here?

I was trying to play a survival 4 player CO-OP game with random players on subnautica discord, but there was a cheater who ruined the whole game.

Id like it for them to make it alot less worth it to cheat. Disabling achievements like in BZ is one thing, maybe they could do more this time especailly since its co-op. I mean players could still cheat if they want, but i want it to be harder for them to cheat in legit playthroughs. I know its impossible to 100% prevent it, but still.

People just read the title, theres a very long list of suggestions and your title makes it seem like you know what its going to say before you read it. Caught me off guard and I actually clicked to see what cheats you were recommending be integrated.

The issue is, anticheat software is invasive and often negatively impacts not only the performance within the game, but the device as a whole. Something like that running to detect cheat engine doesn’t really benefit the game and only gives legitimate players a worse experience. Personally I don’t even understand the appeal of multiplayer in subnautica, let alone hopping on a server and using cheats when no one else is.
