I would like to suggest a new base module called the Storage Manager.
This would be a wall-mounted device built with the Habitat Builder, functioning as a central hub for managing every locker in a base.
Main Features
When interacting with the Storage Manager, the player would see their inventory on one side and a storage input panel on the other.
Any resources deposited into this panel would automatically be distributed to connected lockers.
Players could assign specific resources to individual lockers.
Examples:
Whenever resources are deposited into the Storage Manager, they are automatically transferred to the appropriate locker.
If multiple lockers are assigned to the same resource, the system fills available lockers sequentially.
If no locker has been assigned to a particular resource, that resource remains in the Storage Manager inventory.
A dedicated button could open a complete overview of the base, showing all floors and connected lockers.
Selecting a locker would display its contents without requiring the player to physically walk to it.
Another tab could display every resource stored in the base and the total quantity available.
For example:
Players could withdraw resources directly from this interface instead of searching through multiple lockers.
This feature would greatly improve storage management in large bases while still preserving the importance of physical storage and base organization.

If anyone has ever used the minecraft mod Tom’s Storage? That mod has a storage interface that I think fits this. You got a central ineractable that links together with a bunch of storage blocks and it automaticaly orginizes like items into storage blocks already having some of that item inside. Maybe this thing could even have a built in fabricator and be a sort of upgraded fabircator replacer? I love this idea. I tend to build large bases in any game so the ability to place down a thing at varied locations to check what I have would be amazing.
