Ability to extend the rooms vertically and stairs

Please add the ability to extend the rooms vertically along with the ability to add floors and stairs so you can put lofts inside your bases.

Looks like this is an idea a lot of players would like to see. I actually made a similar suggestion about expanded vertical base building a little earlier, and it received quite a bit of support as well. Seeing multiple posts about the same topic probably shows that this isn’t just a niche request, but something many players are interested in.

Hopefully the developers take notice and consider adding more options for vertical construction, whether that’s stacked rooms, lofts, floors, stairs, or other ways to make bases feel more multi-level and customizable. Features like this could also improve the building experience itself, making it easier to place structures exactly where you want them. For example, being able to position rooms, hallways, and vertical connections more precisely would help bases feel cleaner and more natural, without having to constantly disable the grid and spend time trying to line everything up perfectly.
