Disappointing leviathan - BIGGER LEVIATHANS

I suffer from thalassofobia, the fear of depths of the sea, mainly because of the idea of a leviathan existing in real life. In Subnautica, i was anticipating the moment a Leviathan could show up because of this, but it was… disappointing. Its not a big creature, its very little actually. I’m literally not afraid of it, its just a nuisance. Making it IMMENSE would actually make me say “WOW”, and ∗∗∗∗ my pants a little, especially since the one already in the game is in such an empty and vast area. Escaping in small crevices so it cant reach you should be a core mechanic. I was expecting something really huge coming from the depths of the ocean, the one we have is just… meh.

There’s another suggestion regarding the Collector Leviathan that might fit into this: instead of the current leviathan, have a much, much bigger ‘kraken’ that hides in the seafloor and reaches out to grab you with a tentacle.
