Let us get fibrous pulp from most plants.

As was the issue in the previus games, most plants have no use, can’t be chopped down. Can’t be interacted with in any way at all, besides scanning.
To quote Gabe Newell “I’m getting a narcissistic injury, when the world is ignoring me”

Since “fibrous pulp” is very unspecific, this provides a great opportunity for it to be obtainable from more sources. I think the following would be satisfactory:

• All named plants, with the exception of mega-flora and landmarks
• Unnamed plants with base building obstructing hitboxes

This would provide a benefit to base building as well. As removing these plants would allow you to build your base where you want.
