However, the large head discovered in the Lost River area is perhaps one of the most enigmatic discoveries in Subnautica from its original release onwards. I am looking forward to Subnautica 2 exploring this gargantuan leviathan in much more detail, possibly through fossils, lore or even a living relative of this leviathan in-game. There is nothing quite like the sheer scale and size of the beast revealed in the Lost River that fits right in the Subnautica experience. It will provide answers to old fans as well as new and unique experiences to new fans alike.
