air bubbles should create air pockets in caves

I saw a bubble dissapear when it hit the roof of the cave. i was hoping to use it.

It should move up along the roof of the cave. the high point of the cave should always be an air pocket where these plants are giving off constant air? I don’t know the physics of this, but it was dissapointing when the air bubble vanished at the roof.
