Don't put waypoints on every story related places

One of the biggest complaints I’ve seen people mention about Below zero is how guided the story is.
The early access story of Subnautica 2 has the same exact problem right now :
Every story progression is shown with a marker given either by NOA or instantly after collecting a PDA. It removes a lot of the rewarding feeling of following the lore and clues and then discovering important places by yourself.

I understand the topic of accessibility, but imo giving away every places with plain markers is a waste of the winning formula of the first game and a middle ground is possible. I understand that coop player might be easily distracted from the story and don’t want to read PDAs entries while swimming with friends.

Maybe include a form of tutorial guiding you to use your pda to look for clues in the entries you collect or make NOA give you general direction and distance. (mostly like lifepod searching in Subnautica 1 or the depth module search in this game).
Maybe make use of the scanning station to refine the general directions into a smaller search zone.

But please get rid of markers popping up one after the other or even faster than you can explore.
I think there are many cool ways to make discovering the story still rewarding whilst preserving good accessibility all while being compatible with multiplayer.

I can think of a few story locations that were not marked in this game. The Observatory, the Power Plant, the Rosetta Stone, the Metal Farms. Pretty much all of the Karakorum region. Plus, none of the bunkers were marked, and they have important progression upgrades.

This could also jsut be a toggelable option in settings, Unforntalntly for OP thers more casual people who like the spoon feeding, so it would be prob turned on by default, and wed have to turn it off
