
Make the creatures have interactions with the player. Like how in Subnautica 1 stalkers could be fed peepers to tame them or gathering resources off of reefbacks and in Below Zero interactions with the glow whales. Interactions and resources would be used to incentivise people to care about and immerse themslves in the world of Subnautica 2 rather than feel like they are just watching creatures. A more interactive environment to the player (though creature on creature interactions are sick) would feel a little more like adapting and living alongside these creatures and could also be used as an outlet for deeper creature lore.
This is the number one thing the game needs in my opinion
