Swimming in Subnautica 2 does not feel very immersive. What I mean by that is that the sound design and animations don’t lean very well into what made them successful in the first game. Swimming lacks noise. In the first game, there was a sound for every stroke, every paddle. You could hear splashing and you could hear the pressure of the water. The movement of your body was more noticeable. It felt like every stroke had weight. You could hear your character breathing through their scuba thing. The camera tilt was way more dramatic. All of these things SN2 lacks in. I’m not saying it’s bad. I’m just saying in a game where all you do is SWIM, you wanna be immersed. I do not feel well immersed when swimming because of all of these things lacking above. Devs, please fix this. I really want this to surpass the first game by a mile! You got this!

Yeah and add much more animations when you climb the ladder of your lifepod for example it looks kinda strange like the animation is dragging the player on the ladder rather then climbing it.

And animations for climbing in and out of the Tadpole. These are small features that make the game feel more realistic and complete in my opinion, I really liked how they were done in the first Subnautica.
